What Is a Velcro Disc?

A Velcro disc (also called a hook and loop sanding disc) is a type of abrasive sanding disc that uses a hook-and-loop attachment system to quickly connect with a sanding pad on a power tool. It is widely used for surface sanding, finishing, polishing preparation, and material removal in industries such as automotive, woodworking, metal fabrication, furniture, and manufacturing.

Unlike traditional adhesive-backed sanding discs, Velcro discs can be attached, removed, and reused multiple times during the working process, which improves efficiency and reduces replacement time.
